Southampton City District Scouts

• Camping per person per night: £2.60 pp

• Cottage (inc. 32 sleeping in it) per night:  £110.00

• Activity Centre per night: £54.00

Other Scouting and Charitable Youth Groups

• Camping per person per night: £4.30 pp

• Cottage (inc. 30 sleeping in it) per night:  £181.00

• Activity Centre per night: £61.00

Schools/Colleges/Commercial

• Camping per person per night: £5.80 pp

• Cottage (inc. up to 32 sleeping in it) per night:  £230.00

• Activity Centre per night: £72.00

Day Visitors

• There is no charge for day visitors to a group booked as staying overnight.

• Day site bookings without an overnight stay, are only accepted from Southampton City Scout District groups, and only less than 2 months before the date. The charge is that for the Activity Centre, access to which is included.

Generator Usage

The generator is charged at £8.50 per hour when used. There is no mains electricity on site.

Activities

• Use of the pioneering poles is free but needs to be pre-arranged.

• Use of the BBQ area is free, but needs to be agreed at the time with other site users. This may be closed without notice if the fire risk to deemed to be high.

Deposit

Once your booking is accepted, a deposit is required within 14 days to secure your booking.

• Camping: 50% of total numbers.

• Cottage and Activity Centre: 50%

Cancellations

If a camp is cancelled, the deposit will be refunded in the following circumstances:

1. If cancelled more than 3 months before the start date of the camp and if not used for another camp within 14 months of the original camp date.

2. If cancelled between 2 and 3 months before the start date of the camp, only 50% can be used for another camp within 14 months of the original camp date, and the rest will be forfeited;

3. If cancelled less than 2 months before the start date of the camp, all of it will be immediately forfeited.

If deposits are not paid as required, a warning will be issued giving 7 days to pay, and if not then paid the booking will be removed from the Availability Calendar.

Activity Centre Hire

If you are holding a group camp at Wilverley and you don’t want to bring your kitchen tent, mess tent, tables and chairs, you could hire our activity centre instead and have access to its fully equipped kitchen. It can also be hired by campers for use as an indoor activity space.
