Welcome to Wilverley
Wilverley is a campsite in the heart of The New Forest National Park, operated by Scouting. The site is open to Scout, Guide, School and other youth groups, whether it be for an overnight stay or a full week of adventure. There are 4 camping fields for up to 100 people, as well as indoor accommodation in The Cottage for 32 people and a separate Activity Centre Building.
As a site specifically for youth organisation events, we do not accept bookings for adult groups, family holidays or social events. No dogs are allowed, except for assistance dogs. Fires are strictly prohibited by Forestry England.
The Cottage
The Cottage provides bunk bed accommodation for 30 in 6 dormitories (3 x 6 + 3 x 4), a Leader bedroom / sick bay for 2 in bunks, large open communal area, kitchen with fridge/freezer and range cooker. There is also an accessible internal toilet.
Camping
The 4-acre site can accommodate up to 100 under canvas. The campsite features plenty of activity space, toilets, washing facilities, hot water by use of the generator, and a small weather shelter.
Activity Centre
Adjacent to the cottage is an Activity Centre with a further large communal room and independent kitchen. It can be hired independently for daytime use by either Cottage users or campers.
BBQ
This is adjacent to the cottage and is available to all site users. Wood burning is prohited by Forestry England. Bring own charcoal and cooking tools.
